This parameter establishes whether the duty cycle of the fan controller has a positive polarity (enabled) or negative polarity (disabled). This allows the end user to specify whether a high value expressed on the fan control line will turn the fan on or whether a low value will.
The default fan PWM duty polarity is active low (the higher the fan speed the greater the amount of time the output is pulled low versus high). The Invert Polarity option is used to make it active high instead.
