This parameter establishes whether the monitor signal of the fan controller has a positive polarity (enabled) or negative polarity (disabled). This allows the end user to specify whether having the fan on will increase (positive) the sensed voltage or decrease (negative) the sensed voltage on the monitor circuit.
The default monitor polarity is active low (so the voltage sensed by the monitor circuit will decrease as the fan speed increases). The Invert Polarity option is used to make it active high instead.
