This section allows for configuring the pulse current limit settings. Certain batteries allow for a burst of current for brief periods of time before settling down to the continuous current rating. These settings allow the user to program in how high the current limit may pulse up to and how long the pulse will last.
The pulse timer begins once the continuous current limit is exceeded and will continue to count down as long as the continuous current limit is being exceeded.
Once the pulse timer expires the current limit can be reduced below the continuous current limit rating to allow the batteries to cool off or recover before allowing the pulse current limit again.
NOTE: The BMS will still enforce the minimum / maximum cell voltage limits outlined on the Cell Settings tab of the profile. These limits are NOT altered by these pulse limit settings (the BMS will still limit based on cell voltages regardless of what the pulse current limit is set to).
