This input is used by the BMS to determine whether the J1772 charging handle is inserted into the vehicle or not. Because it uses resistance to determine the state it is possible for the BMS to determine whether the handle is inserted regardless of whether it is actually powered or not. This signal is also used by the BMS to engage the J1772 compatible charging station once the onboard tests are completed.
NOTE: This function can only be assigned to Multi-Purpose Input #2 on the Orion BMS.
