Depth of Discharge refers to the amount of capacity that has been discharged from the pack at any given time. This value will NOT include capacity that is lost due to State of Charge Drift.
Typically this value is a direct inverse of the State of Charge value with the one exception that it does not account for any energy lost due to State of Charge Drift. It will, however, realign with the State of Charge value once the pack is fully charged or fully discharged.
