Low Voltage Powerdown

Units: [Enabled/Disabled, Voltage]

This option enables the internal low voltage powerdown circuit inside the BMS. If enabled, when one or more cells remain below the provided low cell voltage parameter for a period of 45 seconds then the BMS will enter an extremely low power sleep mode to help prevent over-discharging the battery cells.

NOTE: The low cell voltage provided MUST be lower than the Minimum Cell Voltage value programmed on the Cell Settings tab.

When the low power sleep mode is triggered, all power must be removed from the BMS for a period of at least 1 minute before reapplying in order to wake the unit back up.

The presence of a voltage failsafe condition (ie: open wire fault, pack voltage mismatch fault, voltage sensor failure fault) will inhibit this feature from activating. This is to prevent a miswired or defective cell link from causing the entire BMS to shut down.
