This value (expressed in State of Charge percent) is subtracted from the calculated battery pack capacity based on the measured temperature.
This feature allows the BMS to compensate for many lithium ion batteries (as well as other battery chemistries) that may deliver reduced capacity at colder temperatures than they would at warmer temperatures (EG: A battery at -20C might register 50% of the capacity it normally would have at +25C).
The BMS will reduce the Pack Amp-Hours value based on the data provided in this table and the battery pack temperature.
Example: If a battery pack is configured as a 50Ahr pack with 20% reduction at -20C, when the battery pack is at -20C degrees the BMS will reduce the usable pack amphours to 40Ahr. As the pack warms up the BMS will restore usable pack amphour capacity.
