Custom flags can be editted through the CANBUS message editor by clicking the "Edit Flags" button. Each custom flag consists of 8 programmable bits (ranging from #1 to #8). Each bit has a corresponding value that is selectable through the drop down menus.
Available Flags:
Blank: A value of 0 is always loaded
Constant 1: A value of 1 is always loaded
Ready Power Signal: This value is 1 when Ready Power signal is energized.
Charge Power Signal: This value is 1 when Charge Power signal is energized.
Multi-Purpose Output: Value is 1 when multi-purpose output is activated (engaged).
Depleted: Value is 1 when the Pack SOC is equal to or lower than the "Discharged SOC' parameter value available on the "SOC Settings' tab of the profile.
Mode Denied: Value is 1 when a drive mode transition request is denied (for use with PHEV modifications).
Discharge Relay: Value reflects the status of the Discharge-Enable relay (1 = ON, 0 = OFF).
Charge Relay: Value reflects the status of the Charge-Enable relay (1 = ON, 0 = OFF).
Charger Safety: Value reflects the status of the Charger Safety relay (1 = ON, 0 = OFF).
Charge Interlock: Value is 1 when both Charge Power and Ready Power signals are energized. This is useful for determining when a vehicle is both ON and plugged in.
Drive Mode High: This is the high bit of the current drive mode (for use with PHEV modifications).
Drive Mode Medium: This is the middle bit of the current drive mode (for use with PHEV modifications).
Drive Mode Low: This is the low bit of the current drive mode (for use with PHEV modifications).
Voltage Failsafe: Value indicates whether the voltage failsafe condition has been activated (ie: a problem with the voltage sensing equipment).
Current Failsafe: Value indicates whether the current failsafe condition has been activated (ie: a problem with the current sensor).
12v Supply Failsafe: Value indicates whether the 12v supply failsafe condition has been activated (ie: the BMS is being powered with less than +8vDC).
Multi-Purpose Input: Value is 1 when multi-purpose input is energized to +12v (engaged).
Balancing Active: Value indicates whether the battery pack is currently performing balancing (1 = YES, 0 = NO).
